Tile Game mini is a widgetized adaptation of Tile Game from Solly. The gameplay is that of Single-Player "Mah-Jong" ...

Remove pairs of matching tiles that are unblocked at left or right. |
... with a challenging mathematical enhancement ...

Mathematical symbols on discarded tiles affect the player's score. |
Scoring
The back side of Tile Game mini tracks the "Best Scores" for Completed Games (where no tiles remain) and Stalemated Games (where more tiles remain, but no moves are possible).
The game begins with a Base Score of 0. Thereafter, removing a "number" tile alters the Base Score according the value and "mathematical suit" of the tile. For example (in fact, four examples), ...
- Removing "x 3" triples the score.
- Removing "/ 2" cuts the score in half (ignoring remainders).
- Removing "+ 7" raises the score by seven.
- Removing "– X" decreases the score by ten.
"Aces" and "Faces" Bonuses
"Ace" tiles show just a mathematical symbol; "Face" tiles show a symbol in a colored disk.
-
Removing all four "Ace" tiles places a "1" after the Base Score.
"31,415" becomes "314,151".
-
Removing all four "Face" tiles places a "1" before the Base Score.
"31,415" becomes "131,415".
The Bonus 1s are unaffected by changes to the Base Score. With both Bonuses secured, for instance, if the Base Score dwindles to "0", the actual score is "101".
Sign doesn't matter
Larger scores —positive or negative— are better; zero is worst. (That's why we have "Best Scores" instead of "High Scores".)
Non-Scoring
Tile Game mini allows you to ignore the mathematics altogether (except for the symbols) and play plain, old-fashioned Tile Solitaire.
Even in non-scoring mode, Tile Game mini keeps track of your score, in case you want to switch back to scoring mode. (Scores are installed into the "Best Scores" list only in scoring mode.)
